Folks may need to keep their expectations very low. Traditionally, AMD released their top-tier cards from the outset, followed by low- to mid-tier offerings and a flagship card, but not this time. oh ok, yeah guess that was my assumption that these were going to compete with the 5900s, but that makes total sense, still sounds like they are pretty good cards if they are going to be sub $300

, I bought an extra Diamond 5770 (even though I took it back that night because of the crossfire issues in crysis
) and really liked the packaging/ card.
