I'd have to agree with a post above. These are hardly the sort of films that would wet your Hi-def apetite! Gadar, Hum Aapke Hain Kaun and Rang De Basanti are crying out for HD treatment and a blu-ray release. They're evergreen movies which can be watched many times over as compared to Golmaal Returns or All The Best which will do nothing more than show the viewer in greater detail as to how much make up is lapped on by Bollywood actresses. An example of this is Kareena Kapoor who in the 'yeh mera dil' song could clearly be seen to be marinated in foundation to cover up bad skin. The clarity of the HD highlighted flaws which would never otherwise have been visible. This in a way reminds viewers that no one is perfect!

Gadar on blu ray with HD audio...now THAT is something that will surely excite....only if done properly. A bodge job will do nothing but frustrate.

I dont understand what all these big companies are doing. I've seen Aashiqui has released on blu ray! What the hell for!? Surely there is a better more 'in demand' pallete of movies out there crying out for a proper mastering.. like Sholay for example! Come on Eros! I mean even Salaam-e-ishq (athough a below average affair) would look great in HD given the very colourful backdrops during the songs and some well executed sequences. But Oye Lucky Lucky Oye? Do Moser Baer need to wake up and smell the lassi? I think so!
