I am afraid CES is illustrating that the BDA is in full force desperation mode and damage control. Declaring 'mission accomplished' is clearly playing to the BD gallery....This is indeed the last stand for the BDA. Will they pull this off? It'll be interesting to see what happens. I am predicting that we will see an increasing trend in BD movie prices as Sony disk subsidies or price controls are reduced. If not, Sony will have a bad Q1 and Q2 and 2007 and a new CEO in 2008.
