A small amount of research would have revealed to you that Weinstein had stopped supporting HD DVD (HDM in general) since June/July 2007, some people on here even expected Wiesntein to go Blu by the time Grindhouse was released.

Did you even read my post? I was speaking of almost half a year ago when I purchased my Blu-ray player. Back then it was just Universal. Paramount/Dreamworks were still neutral and Weinstein had stopped releasing HD DVDs in June/July. At that point in time buying into HD DVD was pure idiocy or laziness to research your purchase for a few minutes.
