Are you maybe referring to the analog stick(s) slightly sticking? I have that problem on one of my regular PS3 controllers. After letting go of the analog, it tends to stick every now and then and not return fully to its center position. I've been meaning to open it up and see if I can lube it or clean it up somehow.
