Thumbs down

I think it is only going to confuse consumers even more. Think about going in to a store and you don't know a thing about the formats and the clerk goes, we got HD DVD players, BD players and LG's combo player. For HD DVD you have the following studio support and for BD you have the following studio support, accept for Warner who are supporting both on a format called THD. If I would have known this when I entered the HD scene I would have been 10 times more confused than I was!

I would rather have Warner and LG picking sides than confusing us (if possible) even more. Why would I pay more for a disc when I don't have use for half of the content on it (if they are charging 4$ more per DVD combo disc THD is going to be 8$ ore more), I was really happy that the BD side didn't have the totally stupid DVD combo discs and now they serve us with this? Do us a favor and just drop out of the format war and wait for a clear cut winner and then join us again Warner!
