I bounce around 3 main interests. Cars, photography and film. When one gets stale, I somehow find rejuvenated interest in another. It's not a conscious decision, it just happens. I don't fight it and I don't make excuses. Why force yourself to enjoy a hobby? Like you said, it ends up feeling like work which stresses you and that's not good for your personal health. Go smell some flowers bear.
