There aren't any specifically produced and available in Australia that I'm aware of. DVE can be bought through Chaos, but they don't stock it so they order from their supplier. Probably just as fast to order online from overseas.

The Sony option is handy if you know what you're doing but it won't help with contrast and colour. The ones of Sony discs are mainly focused on and can be helpful for brightness/black level as well as checking for overscan, correct ratios and sharpness.

If you don't own anything for calibration immediately you may be able to hire one from video store if they stock it (some do have DVE for instance - well at least they used to back in the day of DVD). The other alternative is to order DVE, Spears and Munsil or Disney WoW online and while you wait do a "quick and nasty" calibration using the THX calibration tool found on releases like Indy 4 and Terminator 2. If done properly calibrating with the THX tool may get you a reasonable picture that will suffice until your order arrives.

I would not recommend settling on the DVD version of DVE as an alternative to get it quickly. The Blu-ray has content and calibration tools specifically designed for playback of Blu-ray and for today's modern display types. You will be missing out on a lot of valuable insight and extra tools if you use an older release.

Just my 0.02 cents on the matter.
