How do I convert video's on my laptop to a compatible format so I am able to put them onto my PS3. I ahve been wondering how to do this for a very long time, and I really wwant to know.

Also, How can I download video's off of youtube to do the exact same thing? I want to get youtube video's onto my PS3 as well.
