Education.
I just talk to a guy who bought a 40 gig PS3, and he said. "Why did Sony give me this movie? (Spiderman 3 Blu-ray) I tried playing it on my DVD player and it didn't work. Why give a movie that can't be played?"
So I told him that it's Blu-ray, of course it wont play on your DVD player.
Then the guy said. "What's a Blu-ray?"
Seriously, are alot of other people out there as uneducated as this? Or is it only this guy?
When I told him what Blu-ray was, he continue to say. "Why did Sony give this with a PS3 when PS3 is just a game system."
He couldn't figure it out until I told him that Blu-ray movie can be play on a PS3 and that PS3 itself can be consider a Blu-ray player.
People like this makes me wonder, don't they read?
On the cover it CLEARLY says. "Play this Blu-ray movie on your PS3!"
Now I would say this guy is stupid, but for the masses out there who still don't know what a Blu-ray is, and its connection with the PS3, are there not enough education going on out there??
Must the BDA/Sony PS3 camp open a school for these things?
You guys got any similar story to share?
