hey all,
the wife and I went to my christmas party at my work like we do every year. My company goes out and buys a bunch of gifts to give away in a raffel drawing. they got to places like BB, CC Walmart & bj's and pick up gifts. i saw on the gift table a sony s301 BD player and i was excited thinking maybe i had a chance to win it since i dont have a BD player yet. (was saving to buy the new panny 30) anyways all the gift were given away and they were down to the grand prize gift which was a vizio 42" LCD 720p flat panel TV and guess what??? you got it, my name was called and i won it
. i could not believe it. i even said at the table we were at right before they anounced the name " this one is for me and i said my name out loud and 2 seconds after that they called my name. the employees at my tv could not believe, even my wife was shocked.
so now i won this tv and this other friend of mine won the sony bd player, well he does not have a hd tv and i said i would trade the tv for the sony BD player and some cash. i looked up the vizio and it goes for $1000 prety much every where, so what to do now. i was thinking of maybe returning it to CC were they sell these and getting a store credit and getting a bd player and new hdmi receiver, what do you think? do you think anyone would be interested in buying this tv from me on this forum? or should i do the swap tv for the sony bd player & say like $500 cash? any idea's?
