The last time I remember even having a slight reaction was while watching Antichrist, where I cringed (during the part with the female genital mutilation using a rusty pair of scissors)! And that was to do more with it being quite horrible than 'scary'. I also find most horror films quite bland, mediocre story, wooden acting and a lot of teenage girls screaming!

There were more then a few scenes in Antichrist that made me cringe! Horrible is definitely the right word to use!
