If the display is accepting a 24HZ input it must be converting it to 60HZ refresh. Some displays like the Sony front projector will convert the 24HZ to 96HZ. The Pioneer Plasma will convert 24HZ refresh to 72HZ. New displays scheduled for 2007 will have 120HZ refresh.
Thanks for the info. Sony should mention the 1080P/24 feature in their manual for SXRD rear projectors.
