Just wanted to let those outside the investing rehlm see whats happening with stocks of competing companies over the past quarter.
here is toshibas (ill give you a hint, its down about 25% in the the past few months)

note: there is much, much more than HDM effecting these companies (in fact HDM is a pretty small part of these companies and shouldn't effect the price much at all). and there have been external factors effecting stock prices too, quite dramatically i might add. however, i found it too be amusing that toshiba is down pretty bad and sony and panasonic have had pretty decent gains over the past 3 months.
