Boy, I wish this gave me a more definitive answer! Right now, we don't have the budget to do a $200+ conditioner and line regulator, etc., and I already am using the APC unit...I also could use a Monster PowerCenter that contains a basic amount of conditioning in it, which I snagged from my mom's house since she just got a new Samsung LCD and I stripped her surround system down because she doesn't use it, collecting the pieces for a possible move when she goes into a new place (Onkyo 600 AVR, Panasonic DVD player, etc.) -- it seems whomever set up their system initially used a Monster PowerCenter (model 700 something or other; not that impressive) and I snagged it, thinking I could maybe use it instead of the APC...
