I am looking for a new receiver and was checking the Pioneer EU site (I am from EU).
I have my eye on the Pioneer LX50 receiver. So what I did was compare it with another reciever, and saw that this receiver supports 24p.
Here is the product overview page for the receiver:
http://www.pioneer.eu/eur/products/4...X50/index.html
It is called "HD Digital Film Direct 24", you can find it under main features.
Well, my question is, why does a reciever need to support this?
If I buy a different HDMI receiver that doesn't have this feature, will I not be able to enjoy 24p (if both my tv and player support this), because of the receiver?
Must the receiver have this feature, in order for it to stream the (24fps) video from the player to the tv?
Question for the guys that have an HDMI receiver:
'Are you guys able to play your BD movies in 24fps, with your current HDMI receiver?'
Thanks
