While Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan involved the [Show spoiler]death of Spock, we saw in Star Trek III that that plot would continue on with Star Trek III: The Search for Spock and end with Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home.
I would just think that Paramount would release these films in order or, at least, include Star Trek III and Star TRek IV in the same release since those are more connected than Star Trek II.
Soon as I find a copy of the cover art for Star Trek VI/Star Trek First Contact, I'll be sure to post that.

Didn't they already release a "Spock arc" set? Pretty sure they did, this is just another way for them to increase sales.
