I concur! LCD will be a bit more expensive, but is also better in numerous ways in the event of any repairs needed. And, I'd recommend the PS3 as a Blu-ray player. Not only do you get the fastest loading Hi-Def player that is continuously updateable and reliable, you also get a wireless internet connection unit, a gaming console, a CD player, gorgeous Photo slideshow system, a Media Centre hub (means you can wirelessly connect to all of the audio, video, picture files on any home computer in the house connected to the network), FREE ONLINE GAMING (a big one these days), and the list just goes on and on...
