Although I don't quite dislike Grevious, his character seems pointless to me. I guess he's more important if you watch the TV shows or whatever, but he just pops up as a new "bad guy" who isn't a Sith but uses lightsabers and his voice is annoying. His scenes come off more like filler to me (kind of like 90% of Episode I).
