so the 'rents want a new DVD player. they are both 60 something, by the way. my mother is showing me all these SD models she found online. i cringed and talked her into a Blu-ray player (they have a 1080p TV). the obvious choice
. my dad has a PS2 and jams on Burnout 3 and Gran Turismo quite a bit. he also has some dog fighting game like Blazing Angels or something. so i was able to coerce them into purchasing a PS3. "as long as i can play my PS2 games on it," he said. gonna have them pick up the 80GB model and an HDMI cable. hopefully it still comes with Motorstorm. once he plays that he will never touch those PS2 games. had to remind mom that Hope Floats, King Arthur, Lonesome Dove, and Ottmar Liebart Live are not available on Blu yet. hopefully they never will be
