Thanks a lot for taking up the time to do the analysis on the two versions of the BD.
I was hoping that the Sony version would be significantly better but it appears that is not the case...
It is also disappointing to see that contrast and color properties are not reviewed and rectified and this might become a standard feature and fate for all other good movies released before 2005/7.
I know that hollywood perhaps can afford more money in restoring or correcting original masters but they also have one more thing which is lacking with Indian movie houses - the commitment and promise to offer the best quality for home movie viewing experience to consumers.
On the money, part, I think big studios like YEF should not have any problem in taking such steps but like other Indian studios they are reluctant and nonchalant to meet such expectations.
It is a shame and on top of that most consumers don't show their concern on quality.
