Here's two cents from a non-Superman fan:
Superman: The Movie - Good, not great.
Superman II (both cuts) - See above
Superman III - Fairly bad movie, but features one scene that scared the crap out of me as a kid! That's something, i guess?
Superman IV - Complete trainwreck, just downright horrible! But almost so bad it's good... Nuclear Man is hilarious, c'mon!
Superman Returns - Good, not great, but after the last two (plus Supergirl) people should be grateful!
Those coupled with some (from what i heard) amazing extras in what i can imagine as an excellent package overall, i think it's deemed purchase-worthy! Just waiting for it to drop to 24,99 GBP like
