Why not? I remember seeing ER blu-ray notifications on Amazon. Not sure if they're still there. Also the most recent seasons were filmed in HD if I'm not wrong?

Amazon lists those placeholders for almost every popular show and movie, even ones that have no chance of getting a Blu-ray release.
