Flawed as hell but the most ambitious film, visually and thematically, I've seen this year, easily. Nobody will have an issue with Snyder when it comes to the action in Man of Steel, after viewing this film.
There's one particular action sequence towards the final third of the film that's next level filmmaking. It's a show stopper. It's an evolutionary riff on a particular action sequence he did in 300 but times 100...
Snyder pushed the envelope, visually with this film.
Again, it's flawed as hell but I'm betting that the director's cut will elevate some of the issues.
