I ordered this in the end and the blu-ray arrived today. I watched the film with the English audio track earlier and it seems like this is the main audio track as the two main actors both speak in English. Some of the minor characters are quite obviously dubbed and there are a couple of French lines spoken near the start, but I don't think they're massively important to the understanding of the story. French subtitles can be turned off. Picture quality is very good throughout, although there were some small issues with a couple of the darker scenes (the main one I noticed is right near the end), although this is being very picky. Audio quality seemed good. The film itself visually feels very Chabrol, although I wouldn't say it's a typical story for him. I enjoyed it, it's not up there with his best work, but it's a good film and I don't regret buying the blu-ray at all. I will definitely revisit this again soon. Pro-B said he would review this release on the site when he has a copy, so I'm sure he'll give a more detailed review soon. Hope that info is helpful to anyone thinking of buying this release.
