OK, so I'm watching the new blu-ray right now and it's a mixed bag. The colors look better than the old DVD, especially during the running of the bulls scene at the start. Exterior shots look pretty good, but might be color timed a bit on the warm side. There is some visible grain, but interior shots seem a little soft. The DTS-HD Master audio sound is very good. I would say the new blu-ray is an improvement over previous DVD versions, but it still is not a knock-your-socks-off transfer. I've had so many versions of City Slickers I can't even count them, including the Deluxe Edition laserdisc and the new blu-ray is the best I've ever seen the movie at home. Included are Audio Commentary by director Ron Underwood, Billy Crystal and Daniel Stern, Deleted Scenes and four featurettes: Back In The Saddle: City Slickers Revisited; Bringing in the Script: Writing City Slickers; A Star is Born: Ode to Norman and The Real City Slickers. If you love the movie as much as I do you can't go wrong for 10 bucks.
