If you have a look at the Dell Notebooks that had the optional Blu-ray drive, they no longer have the option (no Blu-ray drive) but have Vista instead. I'm certain that this is a temporary situation as Microsoft have said that 64bit version of Vista will support both HD-DVD and Blu-ray, however HD-DVD will be fully integrated whereas Blu-ray will be via 3rd party applications.
