Just no Onkyo for us anymore.
We bought the 508 about a year ago (one of the first ones that were both 3D-compatible and offered 7.1), but the software switched the surround-channels around (L=R and R=L) in LPCM, so they released new firmware.
However, to get yourself registered took us over 10 phonecalls (never ever somebody called us back), because their website refers Canadians to the US and back again. Then, having a 'shipping label' (just an address on a word-document) made up by another department (no communication possible) and actually emailing it to us took them over half a year(!), plus took us another 10 phonecalls (more, actually). Then, having it picked-up, send to the service center, waiting for more than 4 weeks (for a simple firmware-update), and having it shipped back to us, took them all-in-all 8 months!
So, the product is fine in itself (now), but the warranty has almost expired, and we yet have to hook it up again and test it...
