Never happened to me and I have a lot of movies. Just got lucky. My friend got watchman and it had a really bad scratch across it. He complained and the manufacture refunded the money and replaced the disc.
Maybe if you complain to the disc manufacture and mention you don't have season two but want it (if you do) they might throw it in for free. Or take it back to target, they should at least replace it...

I used to buy and not open till I watched the movie. After my friend got the scratched disc I open right away and check the disc.
