Yes, TrueHD is better sounding than standard compressed audio (dts and dolby digital). Dolby TrueHD and Dts-HD Master are bit-for-bit identical to the studio master.
To set up Multichannel Analog it may be in the Input button configuration options...or you might have a "Multi. Ch" button on the Receiver remote...(read your receiver user manual)
