I just recently purchased a BLU RAY player on 01.13.2007, actually it was a birthday present from my wife.
I got the whole setup now, PANSONIC 50" PLASMA TV with 1080P as well as a PANSONIC 42" PLASMA 1080P for the bedroom and PANASONIC 5.1 Surround Sound and the PANSONIC BLU RAY PLAYER. Now my home theather is complete after 3 months of debating of getting a blu ray or nothing. I'm glad I did though. At first I didn't like the fact that ALL BLU RAY & HD DVD is nothing but fake (CGI ANIMATION), but after looking in the stores today, I went back out and purchased one. Everything is connected through HDMI cables, so I'm good. I'm glad that I switched over, only thing that I dislike is the black bars on the top and bottom of every movie, with my up conversion DVD player I could set it so it fills the screen, but who cares now. Anyway, was thinking about picking up the RE Triology, is it worth it? Also, what other movies are good to see the full potential of what blu ray can really do? Hope to hear from everyone soon.
