It's called a preference. Bias would imply that he somehow had it out for the PT, but he was quite objective in his analysis of it and explains what he likes and doesn't like very reasonably. He's obviously seen both of them and compared them. I like Fight Club more than Transformers, but it doesn't make me "biased", it just means I like it more.
Also:
It's Casey's review, it's his choice what he writes about. This review is "his vision", and there's nothing you can do about it except not read it. He owns the review, he doesn't owe "the fans" anything.

Funny how it doesn't seem to work both ways.
He said more than enough about the technical aspects, and since he writes reviews including "the movie itself" there is no reason he shouldn't discuss changes to the OT, preferences between them, etc.
If you don't want to hear about his opinion of the movies, skip the movie review and just read the technical aspects. Simple as that.
