Sadly, they just don't have the money after years of bank-funded madness buying stuff they should never of touched .
They have a very attractive back catalogue for sure: (Rank, ITC, MGM-Pathé/Granada/United British Artists and 1000+ other films and of course a real gold mine of TV material). They have loads of TV drama full length films I'd love on Blu-ray.
Obviously, ITV do still make lots of money from
parts of their business so we may see another name change and new owners. I don't like the "ITV" name so it'll not be missed.
