I was at work and someone mentioned that they were excited for when Sony gets around to releasing Pink Floyd's "Pulse" on blu-ray.

That got me thinking and so I have a question. "Pulse" like many other concert releases was video taped not filmed. So am I correct in thinking that the picture couldn't benefit from a HD release due to the limitations of the source material?
