I'm personally sick of anyone that talks smack about anything they have only heard rumors about and not dealt with directly e.g. people who've only owned a ps3 and talk smack about 360, and vice versa people who've only owned a 360 and talk smack about ps3.
How would a 360 owner not be able to afford a ps3 considering that a good chunk of 360 owners have had to buy additional consoles due to the 360's poor craftsmanship?(me being one of them)
I have both consoles and they both have their pro's and con's. I agree the ps3 is by far a superior piece of technology but as it stands right now 360 has a better online service and more big title exclusives. That's not saying that the psnetwork won't eventually surpass xbox live, which I do believe it has the potential to do and after dealing with a lot of BS from MS I hope it does.
The biggest downfall of 360 is that MS are so damn greedy that they seem to want to milk the consumer dry by constantly coming out with newer and better consoles and additional add-ons(e.g. console=$399[if you're lucky enough to only have to purchase one], HD-DVD player=$160, Wireless=$100, play&charge kit=$20 for a total of almost $700)to come anywhere near what the ps3 comes with out of the box. And the only downfall of the ps3 that I've seen so far is just the smaller selection of huge exclusive titles and the fact that the psn is still in its infancy as of now.
And all that is going to change in the coming months.....well at least for the ps3. I still think MS will continue to be greedy bastards and so I've promised myself that as soon as I beat the games I own but haven't beat yet and my live subscription runs up then I'm going to sell it all off and buy more Blu's
