It's as though the unit was trying to over compensate for not being able to hear the test signals by boosting the channel levels. When the test signals were played during the calibration, they were not smooth and even like they should be. The sound was really raspy. Definitely a bad unit. 
Fortunately I can return it for a refund. Unfortunately, I have to. I really was looking forward to enjoying the unit. I'll have to keep my eyes open for another. |
