Maybe it's just that my TV's timeout for a "no-signal" indicator to be displayed on the screen is incredibly short, but every time I load up a Blu-ray movie in my PS3 and it is going through the FBI anti-piracy warnings, and the beginning intro screens etc. until the actual movie starts up, I get an HDMI no-signal warning displaying on my television (Samsung LNT-4661F) between loading these screens. Slightly annoying, but I understand why it's happening. The PS3 stops sending a signal over the cable for a split second between those beginning scene changes much like a PC video card would stop sending a signal to the monitor for a split second between a BIOS boot screen and the OS startup screen. It's a minor inconvenience really. Does anybody know of a future firmware update to make the PS3 continually send a signal over the HDMI cable at all times, or maybe a simple workaround that I can do. I don't really want to go into the service menu of my TV for a fix, as this is only a minor inconvenience, but an inconvenience none the less. Any thoughts from the experts out there?
