That's what it sounds like they are asking.
The discs do have a default setting. 99% of the time I have seen it being the Dolby Digital 5.1 track unless it is a FOX release. They only have the DTS HD track on most of their releases. And, for those titles that jump right into the movie (WARNER BROS sucks for not using main menu pages), it really is not that big of a deal to hit the menu button, select "Languages" on the menu and change sound output streams on the fly without having to interrupt the playback. I often get it set to and playing back the HD audio track before the studio logo is anywhere near being completely played.
