Some have similar feelings about subtitled films, but I don't have an issue with either. A focused attention to the film is all that's required to take in the whole of the production: cinematography, production design, acting, dialogue, and all. Besides which, I found the cinematography for both films carefully plotted out, the cities serve as one more character in the films.
I'm hoping to see these two on Blu soon as well, at first I thought this was an impending release announcement. For now I'm definitely holding on to my DVD copies.
