That was attempted before he bought the lg, i tried to steer him towards the pannys and samsungs but he "preferred" the LG, this is the type of guy that shows off his tv now by noting its 600hz
because he of course thanks to marketing thinks thats like 120-240 on lcd.
Its a done deal and i just want to make sure its not a defective set or that there are settings on that are causing this. I was just lucky i was there when he opened the thing or his cousin who actually said this was the first year plasmas can last more then 2 years would have had him cranking sharpness, brightness, and contrast straight to the roof.
