I've got the DVD and it's a pretty decent disc. I remember stumbling across it in a Suncoast years ago, circa '99 or 2000. (Remember those days back before the Internet was literally at your fingertips? When release dates and preorders weren't so readily accessible? When you could wander into a retailer and actually be surprised to see a favorite film available for purchase?) I remember at the time I was surprised that it got a couple really good special features (commentary, featurette) and I was very pleased with the disc. But I can't pass this up.
I almost ordered "Fright Night" and "Swamp Water", but the hefty price tag kept me away. But being a die-hard undead fan, I have to get this one. For me, owning it and seeing it in high-def is damn near worth the 30+ bucks. Damn near. |
