- easier - screw type, better? solder type. simply because it minimizes corrosion/oxidation of speaker wires....(its a gray area topic, on how it affects your speakers performance, but hey, do it once, do it right as i say)

it depends on both the cable and the banana plug your using. too fat, it wont work.
you just need a very good insulated cable for this. not necessarily monster branded ones ( IMO an overrated overpriced brand)
