Exactly what I was going to say. If the set isn't numbered, studios can sell however many they want and still advertise the set as "Limited", because, technically, all printings of movies have a limited run.

Also, I learned not to trust seemingly credible YouTube videos talking about "Limited Edition". I remember Michael Bay mentioning 5000 copies were going to be signed for his limited edition Transformers box set, but given the fact that it's a) unnumbered b) sold by a variety of major stores like Best Buy and Amazon and c) still on the market as "new" after 9 months, I can't help but think that the studios conveniently changed their mind about how many they'd be making after they saw how many they could sell.
