So, assuming you have a point, what makes Kiffin a "scumbag"? Was it the SIX (WHOA!) secondary violations that he committed while at UT? Was it the ZERO violations that he has committed so far while at USC?

How did he handle things the wrong way? He met with his players and told them he was leaving. He met with the press and told them he was leaving. What else did you want him to do?

He created the controversy to create a "buzz" about the program with recruits. Up to that point, UT was in decline. He also improved their record in his one season at UT. He took a bad QB (Crompton) and coached him up enough to actually get him drafted by the NFL. His team was very well-prepared for both UF and Alabama, easily covering the spreads and taking Alabama to a botched FG attempt of upsetting the Tide.
He had a buyout written in his UT contract. He told the AD that the only job that he would consider leaving UT for was USC. So, the "greener pastures" was well-telegraphed to the UT athletic department once Carroll resigned.
But... Keep drinking the Kiffin/USC haterade. Jealousy is such a lovely trait to express in public.
