I'm bet the bluetooth controllers on your ps3 are interfering with your laptops' using channel 2. Your 2.4Ghz phone can also cause interference.

Highly unlikely (from the description), because every device that talks to a router or access point has to communicate on whatever channel the router or access point broadcasts on (usually channel 6 for 802.11b/g). So, they all NEED to talk on the same channel. Think of the channel as the wire.
