Thanks for the reminder HD Goofnut...I haven't seen this movie or even listened to that score for almost 10 years. And I just realized, there's still an unopened Krull DVD tucked away here somewhere. So...do...I...actually...open...it? Hmmm...

BTW popeflick, I don't hear much of Khan in that Krull score...at least no more than any composer uses similar movements and arrangements as part of his/her signature style. But it wouldn't be unusual if he did...one of my all-time favourite film composers, Bernard Herrmann, was notorious for riffing on himself...there are echoes of his other pictures throughout his scores. So I 'm having trouble accepting that alone as a criticism.
