Exactly. The final word on how the film should look belongs to only two people: Savini and the DP. The opinion of everyone else is gibberish at this point as is any level of blame. Till those two talk your all whining and complaining out of your backsides.

I am going to LMAO if this turns out to be the actual intended look. Much like the previously mentioned Coppola approved Dracula transfer before it. Your all stuck in DVD land it seems. Which, short of a Criterion release, I wouldn't trust a single a transfer of as factual to intent. One of the joys of mass compression is inaquracy and adjustment.
