Q. Are Blu-ray discs region encoded?
A. All Sony Pictures European Blu-ray Discs will be region ABC (all region). This means that you can watch them on any Blu-ray player, whether they are new release or catalogue titles.

Should come in handy! And who knows, maybe this'll eventually be rolled out on a worldwide basis, not just for catalogue titles.
