just watched a HD movie last night on comcast on demand. looked like SD compared to blu-ray. granted i was watching it on my parents older rear projection sony hd tv and im used to my newer toshiba lcd, but still, blu ray looks a ton better. i also have a hard time believing that hd downloads will be the next thing cuz in my opinion, i really prefer having the disc itself. dont know about everyone else, but i like having a "solid" format that cant get accidently erased off a hdd, and it is also kinda fun to have a ton of movies on a shelf to kinda show off to friends
