It looks off because the lighting/brightness is completely different. I don't have the ability to view your video frame by frame (you couldn't clip it down to just the part you were talking about?
), so I had to keep stopping and going back. If you do that you'll see
in the briefest glimpse just before Batman fires for the first time, that the scene beyond the door is not the mall - and you can also see that it's someone greenish. It's definitely a "hallway" before the mall entrance. It's the change in lighting that makes it look off.
